Low-voltage done right
A low-voltage system that's easy to maintain — for years, not weeks
Bad low-voltage work hides until something breaks. Then you're chasing a mystery cable through a ceiling at midnight. We don't work that way.
Every drop is run on dedicated path, terminated to spec, labelled at both ends, tested with a real cable certifier, and documented in a port map you can hand to your IT team — or to us next time something needs to change.
Cat6 / Cat6A data, fibre, coax, WiFi access points, video doorbells, intercoms, building entry, paging and AV — all under one organized contractor.

Why Electric Hero
Clients keep us on for low-voltage because they never have to hunt for a cable again.
Labelled at both ends
Every cable is labelled at the wall plate and at the patch panel — with a port map you actually keep.
Tested and certified
We test every Cat6/6A run with a real cable certifier, not a $30 continuity tester.
Clean, tidy install
Cable trays, Velcro, proper bend radius, no zip-tie chokeholds — work you wouldn't mind opening up a year from now.
One contractor for power and data
Coordinating power circuits with data drops in the same install means no surprise extra trip charges.
FAQ
Low-voltage set-ups, answered
Cat6 or Cat6A — what should I install?+
For most homes and offices, Cat6 is plenty. If you're planning 10Gb infrastructure or longer runs in a commercial space, Cat6A is the safer long-term choice. We'll size it to what your space actually needs.
Can you mount and provision WiFi access points too?+
Yes — we install ceiling-mount and wall-mount APs, run POE drops to each, and can provision and test on most common controller platforms or hand off to your IT vendor.
Do you do AV and home theatre cabling?+
Yes — speaker, HDMI, projector pulls and structured AV cabling. We rough-in at framing or fish into finished spaces.
Will you certify the cabling?+
On request, yes. We test every drop for continuity and pairing as a standard, and provide full Cat6/6A certification reports for commercial installs where required.
